It's no use, you say you can take it. What next ail you go begging in the streets? I don't know, how you can keep going when the ground you're standing on is trembling 'neath your feet. I pretend, because I can't face it? Who said the party's coming to an end. You noticed, you're worried you say you can't help it. Now is a good time to say good-bye to your friends. But after everything you claim you find the world's about the same as ever. After everything's renamed, you find the problem's just the same as ever. Can't get away? I've been there. Can't get away? Is there anywhere else but here? Can there be anywhere else but here? I don't know. I know you don't like it: nobody makes you hero of the play. Oh well. You'll have to get past it: who wants to be in a fan club anyway? I pretend, because I can't face it? Who said the party's coming to an end. You noticed, you're worried you say you can't help it. Optimist is lending to the pessimist again. But after everything you claim you find the world's about the same as ever. After everything's renamed, you find the problem's just the same as ever. Can't get away? I've been there. Can't get away? Is there anywhere else but here? Can there be anywhere else but here?

I want to come over, look into your eyes, wash away your tears when the party's over, lying there inside living with your fears. Oh you, you're the fortunate one but you. Never paid for your place in the sun, now you. Realize what I was on about when I said that life is hard. I want to come over, look into your eyes, wash away your tears when the party's over, lying there inside living with your fears. Oh you never knew so much rage but it's a little late for your coming of age, now you. See what all the rest of us do, kind of, had this coming to you. I want to come over, look into your eyes, wash away your tears Now the party's over, why are you surprised, it's now like it appears? Oh you, you're the fortunate one but you. Never paid for your place in the sun, now you. Realize what I was on about when I said that life is hard (you ought to believe me) I want you to come over, look into my eyes tell me what you see. Now the party's over, it's time you realized, you'd be safe with me.

Things can change, in a moment. Like a wave, so big you can only run with it. I can sense subtle movement underground, something's coming things will change one day. It doesn't seem so easy now, no matter what you say. It's not like I can wave my hands, and make it go away. Things can change, in a moment. Like a wave, so big you can only run with it. There's a place, in the shadows, where the law, like the weather, changes everyday. It doesn't seem so easy now, no matter what you say. It's not like I can wave my hands, and make it go away. It doesn't seem so easy now, when all is said and done. You're just a pawn of circumstance? Well you're not the only one.

No Free Ride 04:12
I'd like to float, into the sky, and I'd see everything, from 8 miles high. I'd like to melt into the rain, away from everything, away from pain. I'd like to sink into a stream, and I'd let everything wash over me. No wolf, no door, no outlaw schemes. I'd just let everything, wash over me. Well who'd believe it? It's in plain sight. Take it or leave it: the old man was right… there's no free ride.

1234 01:48
1234, yes. 1234, I don't know but, what did you expect? You only get back what you sew, or so I've been told; I'm getting kind of old to play these games again, and again. 1234, go, 1234, wait a minute. You don't understand, a thing about the work that's in it. Out of my heart, and out of my head, we can't play these games again and again. There's no time to wait for fate and all her consequences. When all my life I'm falling in and out of love. There's no time to waste in debates about the influences. All my life is falling, in and out of love. In and out of love. In and out of love. 1234 stop! 1234 start again, you don't know what's involved, the problem's much too big to solve with platitudes, and pissy moods, you just don't get it. Sorry friend it's the end. Sorry friend it's the end.

18 Years 03:20
As I look back, on the changes in my life. I wonder; were they ever right? Well no matter, they seemed right at the time. But now and then I can't get you off my mind… I could not speak I could not say, the words that haunt me 'til today; I loved you then, I love you now. You turned your back, I went away, eighteen years and nothing's changed: I loved you then, I love you now. And it's all, it's all so easy now. Now everything has turned to stone. But I can't, can't help wondering; when did everything turn to stone? As I look back on the changes since I left, it's no surprise I haven't got it yet. And I remember, what you said to me this time, ahh but even still I can't get you off my mind. I could not speak I could not say, the words that haunt me 'til today; I loved you then, I love you now. You closed your eyes, I went away, eighteen years and nothing's changed: I loved you then, I love you now. And it's all, it's all so easy now. Now everything's returned to stone. But I can't, can't help wondering; when did everything turn to stone? I could not speak I could not say, the words that haunt me 'til today; I loved you then, I love you now. I turned my back, I went away, eighteen years and nothing's changed: I loved you then, I love you now.

DV82XL 04:18
I don't know why you're waiting, wondering if they'll call. Surely you know all they want is all you have? They're empty moments, you spend 'til they respond, when all the questions were beyond them anyway. DV8-2XL, your life is your wishing well. All you need to break their spell is open up your eyes. DV8-2XL, do it weird but do it well, All you need to break the spell is DV8-2XL. I meet your eyes and they show me your disgrace. All your tender expectations are tears upon your face. They choose your wardrobe, they influence your mind, leave you in shadows, the blind leading the blind. DV8-2XL, your life is your wishing well. All you need to break their spell is open up your eyes. DV8-2XL, do it weird but do it well, All you need to break the spell is DV8-2XL.

So it goes, in the night. people talking and they're drawn into the light. But what do I know? Who's to blame? I can't think because I've got you on my mind again. Please take some time, take some time with me. I'm your new romance, as you can clearly see. It's more than feelings, it's more than nerves. More than gestures, to everyone who's served. Missing appointments, forgetting names, I can't think because I've got you on mind again. Please take some time, take some time with me. I'm your new romance, as you can clearly see. I see you coming, there you go. I'm getting twisted, you know I've got to know. All the treasures, the wealthy flaunt, are pale substitutes when you are all I want. Please take some time, take some time with me. I'm your new romance, as you can clearly see.

Charcoal skies above suburban waste, I turn my eyes, and stare off into space. I say no words, gestures can't replace. Turn to the mirror, don't recognize my face and there's Nobody. Nobody in the world. The morning sun brings warmth unto the land. The people rise by silent command. With coffee cups and car keys in their hands, they follow laws, they barely understand and there's Nobody. Nobody in the world. The curtains blow the wind down dusty halls. I lay awake amidst these brightening walls. Softly your breath pierces the morning air. I face the world and you are all that's there and there's Nobody. Nobody in the world.

Brothers 02:48
What's your name little piggy? We are brothers I hear it said but it doesn't look that way to me. Can I take you out to tea? Why the gun? Why to me? No-one escapes this merry-go-round alive. Alive. Live until you die. We are brothers, Cain and Able. Watch your back, watch your back. Blood is thicker than water. Blood is mostly water. The tribe is on the move again, no thought for the unfit left behind. Time to get back in line, defend good, end evil. No-one escapes this merry-go-round alive. Alive. Live until you die. We are brothers, Cain and Able. Watch your back, watch your back. Blood is thicker than water. Blood is mostly water. credits

A Little Bit 03:34
Back alley point of view. Strange light in the sky. And all around the smell, of garbage piled high. I see a figure in the gloom, dirty fingers reaching out. I hear sound of Merlin's laugh… A little bit of this, a little bit of that a little bit of everything goes in the hat. You are involved this is your life choose wisely friend 'cause everything has a price. He asks me for a cigarette and offers me a drink. He takes some objects from a bag and says there's something I should see. A severed finger a diamond ring, a bible and a string of pearls. Then he looks me in the eye, and whispers… A little bit of this, a little bit of that a little bit of everything goes in the hat. You are involved can't get away might be a game but you still got to play.
