David Campbell-music. David Crawford-words. Written in Finch Ontario in 1981. Featuring a Bo-Diddly Beat and some very dissonant harmonies. A wee bit out of place here but fun. If I remember correctly, the beat, although Bo Diddly-esque, was borrowed from Thomas Dolby's "Europa and The Pirate Twins".

The opening effect ("what's your name little piggy?") and various piggy quotes and squeals were taken from the cartoon show "For Better or for Worse" that I was writing music for at the time we recorded it (2000).

Ever since Deliverance, any lines with piggy in them get spooky fast. Pitch shifting and Pro-tooling via engineer Ryan Souliere and presto-chango, cartoon fun becomes malevolent.
