Based on a drum loop by Steve Smith, this tune is definitely in the vein of Leonard Cohen. I don't usually talk-sing, but for some reason this seemed an appropriate way to convey the dark messages of this song.

Dancing through the sky is a very short dance indeed, and the lyrics are based on a vivid and life changing dream I had in 1999 when I lived on the 9th floor of an apartment building. I moved shortly after.
